WMW: 2ND EDITION FINDS NEW HOME IN 2019
Started with humble beginnings, Wired Music Week was created with a mindset of connecting the present and future generation of music industry leaders. The initial goal of WMW is to develop a solid platform in hopes of connecting the Western culture to Asian cultivation within the music industry. With a strong success of over 600 local and international music enthusiasts attending the event last May, WMW is proud to announce its return in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this coming March, 2019.
Last May, WMW partnered up with the team at Zouk Kuala Lumpur to host ZoukIN’s first-ever music production masterclass. Conducted by DJ/ music producers – Maddix and Dimatik, the masterclass session was filled up by individuals from different music backgrounds. From electronic music lovers, beginner aspiring DJs, all the way to local seasoned spin artists; everyone attended the event with an open-mind to learn and widen their music producing horizons even further.
“ZoukIN masterclass was a good start to… help nurture the creative industry. We see this as an opportunity to give back to the up and coming creatives in the country hoping to see the level of talent growth in Malaysia. And now working together with WMW for 2019, the reach would be much of a larger scale.” exclaimed Blink, weekly resident DJ/ Head of Entertainment at Zouk KL

The second edition of WMW will be held at its new home – Zouk Kuala Lumpur. Serving as WMW’s official venue partner, the conference shall be benefiting from Zouk KL’s large venue space in homing even more participants in the upcoming convention.
Our collaboration with all our local partners share the same intention in functioning as a solid structure to successfully provide a one-stop hub for music enthusiasts to learn, network, develop, and advance as a community.
As the founder of WMW, John Beh once mentioned, “It’s great to know that we are able to assist those in the industry who are keen to learn while acting as a bridge to connect them within our resources and capability…”
And with that passion in mind, we are excited to see what the future holds for Wired Music Week.
